"Gadget guy here, i've carried a lot of EDC lights through the years. Surefires, Olights, Nitecores, Streamlights, the list goes on. I switched over to this light coming from a Surefire Stiletto and it's inferior in almost everyway besides the type C port; Grip, activation button/mechanism, clip orientation. It's all around a lesser product.Worse yet, the fail point on this item isn't the "Unprotected" type C port as many anticipated. I knew that likely wouldn't be a problem, we walk around with an unprotected C port on our phones all day. They've had IP68 rating pretty much since conception.The button mechanism has no gasket or seal to it, as it would probably cause issues with its functionality. This grants water/crud an access point to an otherwise perfectly sealed battery and board.In summary, It's a cute little quirky gimmicky light, as Streamlight has been known to do. I have their little keychain light that I still use from time to time. This is just a bigger version of that in terms of quality. The feel in your hand is "ok" and it's nice that it has a metal body. The activation switch is a little lame, honestly. One of the worst i've used on an EDC light. I can't really say it's built to withstand the rigors of real and hard EDC use given the failure point. And of course, as soon as you pop the screws off to even investigate what the problem might be, your warranty is void.With its failure, i've replaced it with a Nitecore EDC that's a proper competitor to the Surefire Stilleto. But this isn't a review for either of those."
