I don't even know what CAT 8 means, but Grok 4.20 beta recommended this with my setup: two computers, each with 2.5Gb NIC going through a single TP-Link switch to the 10Gb port on my fibre modem. I'm using these (2 x 10' and 1 x 33') to go from the fibre port to the switch, and from the switch to two different machines. They Seem to work great, no complaints. I like that the ends come capped, and the cable and connectors feel like good solid, quality construction. Doesn't feel cheap.vincent touchette
