"I was looking for a small first aid kit to keep in my day hiking backpack and I have to admit I was suckered in the low cost and size of this item. After reading the glowing reviews of this kit I decided to take a chance on it. When it came I opened it up to check what was actually included with it. I have been a first responder for 28 years and have really used tourniquets, CPR masks, and all the assorted first aid equipment included in this kit. I was highly skeptical of what was said to be included this kit, but considering I was going to use it as a "boo boo" kit I was willing to take the chance with it. I would supplement it with my own professional equipment where needed. This kit is completely made in China. It contains mostly cheap, poor quality "Band Aids" and towelettes. I tried the included scissors and they had trouble cutting a paper napkin. The tourniquet, if you can call it that, is a cheap piece of rubber better suited to tie off your arm to find a vein. The CPR mask is also a joke. These items take up valuable space and I would just discard them. It also includes a bunch of safety pins (why?) and cotton swabs, which are also a complete waste of space. In the end you get what you pay for. For the money you would be better off buying a real box of Band Aids and Neosporin."
