"Easy to use and does a decent job for it's size. Needs 3 pieces in line instead of two. Being a machinist, I used layout dye on my blades. You can see it gets one side more than the other. 3 pieces would center the blade a little more and flipping the sharpener will allow both sides to sharpen equally.I'll leave this review on the other one I own.Overall they are good and I am getting the diamond one too."

I have bought several different sharpeners, but unless you spend several hundred dollars for a professional sharpening solution, this works better than all of them. Plus, it is compact, I can reset an edge in a couple of minutes, and I get a better edge and sharpness than the other homeowner options. The value for the money is elite. Also, since there is no setup, I sharpen my knives more often. I can do it right before I start cooking, instead of putting it on my to-do list to carve out time later.
