"I've had several of these similar meditation cushions in different parts of the world I have lived. This particular one seemed to breakdown a lot faster than others I've had making it difficult to keep my knees below my hips while meditating. I stopped using it after 3 months since the cushion had collapsed so much. I would have returned it if the return policy window had not expired."

Looks fantastic and it's comfortable. Perfect height to not need a top cushion/zafu (at least while it's new). A touch too firm right off the bat, but all kapok cushions will wear in over time and eventually need replacing. My last one had a seven year run and still has some useful life left.As you wear it in, the shape will lose some stability, and I usually start using a crescent moon cushion in combination with this as my base cushion.bob

I have two of these cushions. One I purchased about four years ago. I initially bought this cushion for sitting on the floor during meditation but I also love sitting on it to watch tv, as I'm writing, and when I'm playing board games on the floor with my kiddos. I have bought other meditation cushions but I love this style because it allows me to sit comfortably for longer periods of time. It allows me to sit with my ankles on part of the cushion instead of resting them on my hardwood floors. That's a big deal when you're older ---or maybe it's just me! The young people in my life love it too. Often, they fought over the first one that I purchased. It is durable and has endured many spills and a good amount of abuse. I will not be sharing my second cushion. It is kept in my car specifically for taking to yoga class.hannapropaganda
