"I own three of these for my cats because they’re little piggies who love to steal each other’s food. The feeders work exactly as described and do a great job at keeping the right cat at the right bowl. BUT they are a major pain to clean. I’d recommend them for dry food only — wet food turns into a daily scrubbing project.In warmer months they also attract fruit flies, which is… gross. Between that and the constant cleaning, it gets old fast.Something else to be aware of: you pretty much have to buy the add-on back cover and the metal food trays, and all of the accessories are weirdly expensive. By the time you’re done, the “affordable” feeder isn’t so affordable anymore.Overall: great concept, works as advertised, but the upkeep and accessory costs are rough."

I had to bring my office cat home due to unforeseen circumstances. My cat that was here decided to constantly steal my office cat's food until I finally got this, and it has been so much nicer. The auto feeder is set up to his microchip in his shoulder, and he can come and go as he wants to eat his food. I also like how it has the divider in the one bowl, which I put a spoonful of wet food in first thing in the morning for him. I do not have to worry about his food being stolen anymore, and waiting for payday to buy a 2nd one for my other male cat.bookworm

Too expensive, especially considering it doesn’t even come with the C battery you need to use it. But besides that it works perfectly. It is easy to train your cat on. You don’t have to stick their head all the way under the bar, which I was scared you’d have to do. It’s easy for the cats to learn and it’s easy to use. My cats were scared of the noise at first, but it didn’t take them long to learn it.chelsea romano

I've been using the surefeeders for years now. They are a game changer. I have several cats on different veterinary diets/meds and the surefeed ensures they dont eat eachothers food. Out of the 4 cats I've used this with only one has managed to get some of the other cats food but only a small amount with his paw while the other cat is eating.
