I pretty much own every Mothers product made. Of the 18 products I have, only one was a dud. This is a brake brush. It easily goes through my wheel to the brake. I cleaned the exposed part, backed up the truck, and did the other side. I live on a gravel road so the brakes get dirty. After cleaning, I heard no noises. But, let me tell you the best part of this brush. I have a Chevrolet Silverado. I keep the outside if the wheels clean, but the inside where you can see it is very hard to clean. I use a oversized Mothers detail brush. With this Brake Dust Brush, I can clean inside and around the wheel perfectly. It’s a very sturdy brush, not to stiff, and not to soft. This is an excellent quality brush and up to Mothers standards. This is a great product and I’ve never seen anything like it. If you want your brakes clean to stop noises, here’s your brush! I bought this along with the wheel brush to make cleaning my wheels easier. I get tired of all the cracks and crevices in the wheels where brake dust and road grime like to hid. This brush does a great job with just car wash. I did not use and wheel cleaner and it did a great job.I took one star off because on the first use, as I used the brush to reach the inside of the wheel - the part accessible through the holes in the wheel itself, the black wire brush was getting bent out of place as it made contact with the rotors. Because it's wire, my fear is that it will move back and forth too much and eventually break off. I would have like a more rigid connection to the handle.All in all, I'm happy with the brush, and it's a good addition to the car wash kit. I may add the lug nut cleaner eventually. If I have three different brushes, just for wheels, is there something wrong with me?kenneth g nielsen

Wheels on today's cars take enough work, particularly removing brake dust from intricate or small space areas. I gave this brush the thorough trial run today, especially in light of some of the negative reviews. I wanted to see if I could get the bristles to fall off. The tough part is done and the wheels are clean and now for the review: The Mothers Double Loop Brake Dust Brush took care of finishing up the job after a quick run using the standard wash mitt. The double loops are flexible enough to allow 'scrunching' the loops together to make the brush able to reach into the narrower areas. I gave it the rough treatment too, pushing in and pulling out of tight areas where the exposed parts of the wheel were unfinished in the areas you do not see from outside the wheel. I maybe saw one loose bristle get loose, but the brush held together like a champ.This is a keeper, it helped me get the creased areas and tight spots that a mitt does not do as well with. It saves your fingers because you are not trying to force the mitt into cramped areas. It rinsed off cleanly and easily and maintained its new appearance when I was done. I'll bet I get many uses out of this brush for seasons to come and I'm very happy with it. It has earned its place among my arsenal of car washing tools.toga

Ordered this brush for the 12-spoke factory wheels on my car. The small area between each set of 2 spokes makes it hard to clean with a normal brush but this one gets right in there with no problems. The metal holding the brush bristles is easily bent to shape it to any spot you need it. All around bristles make cleaning from any angle no problem. The rubberized grip makes it easy to hold onto even when the brush is wet and covered in soap.
