"Picked up these SoundPEATS Air5 Pro+ Hybrid Driver Wireless Earbuds to supplement the AirPods I use with my iPhone.I found the Air5 Pro+s comfortable to wear and they stay in place pretty well. The sound is actually pretty good and I can hear details in some of my music that I had forgotten were there. I'm also impressed with the noise cancellation. As with most ANC earbuds/headphones, the Air5 Pro+s worked well in the car with the AC/heater on high and with a window open. Noise was removed and callers were able to hear me clearly. But also like others, the Air5 Pro+s failed my open-top-on-a-Miata test; they just can't handle huge amounts of wind passing by them.Still for normal use the Air5 Pro+s work well and I've been mostly happy with them with one exception. I've been using the Air5 Pro+s for two months now and I've noticed a significant decrease in their usable time before the nice little voice gives me a low battery warning. While I was getting pretty close to four hours of listening when I first got them, I'm finding I can barely be on a call for an hour or so before I need to switch to a different earbud set. It could just be that I'm doing two-way communication and ANC is working hard, but the decrease in use time is a bummer.By far though, the most concerning thing about the SoundPEATS Air5 Pro+s is the PeatsAudio iOS app. This app CANNOT function correctly without a network connection direct to China. If you're in a network environment that limits connections to other countries, you can forget the PeatsAudio app being of any use. I really don't like having to have a separate app installed just to use earbuds and I don't like that app connecting my phone straight to a Chinese server. The app did let me set up the touch controls to more closely match what I was used to on AirPods and once I got the Air5 Pro+s set to where I liked them, I killed the app and stopped using it.Having said all that, I do like the SoundPEATS Air5 Pro+ Hybrid Driver Wireless Earbuds and will continue to use them for as long as the batteries last."
