I'm actually really digging these shorts. They arrived a bit awkward, vacuum sealed and rolled up, but there were no permanent wrinkles or damage. I don't think the corduroy is super noticable or "deep" which I think is a positive point. I don't really like the look of super thick obvious corduroy. Besides the look, these shorts are very soft and comfortable as well. The color is accurate to the photos and I love having low pockets. Unfortunately it's not shorts weather where I am right now but I wore them inside the house for a day and was very pleased with them. I can't wait for warmer weather to wear them more. They did not change color or softness in the wash but I have not washed them multiple times yet so longevity is still unknown.The only negative I've had is having no pockets in the back. To include the lower cargo pockets but not even one back pocket seems like a mistake to me. But I know some people prefer it this way. Another negative or really just annoyance is the draw string. It's just really long. I don't know why this is a trend now but I am getting a ton of shorts and pants with drawstrings long enough to tie around your neck. It's ridiculous. But also easy to fix. So I'm not going to pass on buying them just for that.Overall they're still a fantastic pair of shorts to add to my closet that provides me with a fun color and texture option as well as a spare rope if I need it. Jokes aside, these shorts are comfortable and I would buy more.giles

A medium-heavyweight fabric with some body but very soft. I sure hope these stay soft through the laundry.The cargo pockets seem silly in casual shorts but I'm putting my wallet in one. Well made. Generous tie string is easy to tie.Fit is perfect. I'm a 34 waist and the Medium fit perfectly. The cut is more tailored than I expected, not my usual baggy shorts.
