"I picked this up because regular nose plugs always felt uncomfortable and never stayed in place while I was swimming. This is noticeably different. The airflow design works pretty well. I can breathe out through my nose without that pressure buildup, and no water gets in during laps or flip turns. It feels much more natural, especially during longer swims.Being able to swap sleeves made it easy to find a fit that seals well, although it was a bit of a challenge to change the sleeves. The silicone is soft and doesn't irritate my skin, even after an extended session. The cord is a nice touch for peace of mind, and the small case keeps everything contained in my swim bag. Overall, it's a well-thought-out product that does exactly what it claims, and it's been a solid upgrade from the standard nose clips I've used in the past."

Earlier today I was sitting in a lounge chair next to the pool trying to get these to work. I read the instructions a second time. I changed the O rings to a larger size. I pushed them deeper into my nostrils. I followed the steps from the instructions to reset the diaphragm in each side but everything I tried I could still breath in and out through my nose without any trouble. I could even hear the little diaphragms popping as I breathed.Somewhere along the way I had read that they allowed you to exhale but not inhale through your nose. That's exactly what they do--when you are in the water! Out of the water they allow you to breathe in and out normally.This breathable nose plug is much more comfortable that the painful, pinching nose clip type I have which squeezes the nostrils shut. With the pinching clip the first thing I need to do getting out of the water is remove it and rub my nose to relieve the pain and clear my nostrils. With the breathable plug there is no hurry to get it out so I can breathe normally again.Even though the plug is inserted into the nostrils, it is a soft silicone and plastic. The plugs come with two sets of tips and O rings in 7 sizes to adjust the fit to your needs. The case that comes with this is a soft silicone with holes to allow water to drain and the plug to dry between uses. There is plenty of room to store ear plugs as well.jb
