"Every desk chair pilot dreams of piloting an air plane and especially for fighter planes, you would want the HOTAS stick and throttle setup. These desk mounts can add credibility to your setup since it is all metal, no plastic, heavy duty, hex head bolt fastened and with beefy mechanical actuated locking mechanisms. These mounts are definitely well designed and a great value for the money for all that you get. The mounts are individually packaged in a cardboard box and then two packaged together in a larger, much thicker corrugated cardboard box. They are well packaged. The mounts feature mostly powder coated metal and large hex bolts. There are a few connecting pieces that look like chrome vanadium but that’s just a guess. The mounts are meant to be universal and can accommodate HOTAS stick and throttle sets from just about all the usual brands. Pretty much anything you can set on the desk can be set on the mounts. They simply provide a platform to hold the stick and throttle so it the controls are better positioned. Owning a set of mounts like these, will add credibility to any arm chair pilots!"

These mounts feel very sturdy and well built. The carbon steel construction gives them a solid weight, and once they are clamped to the desk they do not move at all. Even with strong inputs on the joystick or throttle, the setup stays steady and secure. The clamps hold tight without wobbling, which makes a big difference during flight sim sessions. I cannot stress enough how awesome it is that they provide a solid attachment to the desk and allow you to not only improve the look of your sim setup, but also save you from needing to spend hundreds or thousands more on a dedicated sim rig for flight simulation while providing you a very respectable and sturdy equivalent utilizing only your desk.Adjusting the height and distance is simple, and the range of adjustment makes it easy to find a comfortable position. The mounts work with a wide variety of controllers, including Logitech and Thrustmaster models, so they fit well into different setups. The design also makes it easy to detach them when you need more desk space. Setup is quick because the parts come mostly assembled. You clamp them on, tighten them, and they are ready to use. The mounts arrived as described, each meticulously packaged in its own box. Upon inspection, I found no issues with them. The best part is that the assembly process is minimal. All you need to do is attach the specific adapter piece for the type of joystick you have. We were ready to assemble the mounts and to our relief we didn’t have to.The mounts attached easily to his desk. Using them with a flight simulator, my son had no issues. Very good quality HOTAS flight control mounts. Made of steel, so very sturdy. Mounting is done with a underside clamp and works very well and is adjustable to different thicknesses. Can mount many different joysticks, throttles etc. that allow for it. Many different height adjustments making finding your sweet spot is very easy. This easily will allow mounting of full size peripherals on both sides, with many predrilled holes. Assembly takes a few, but well worth it in the end. Definitely a good value.matias fernandez

Ill start off by saying this is not the only hotas desk mount i own but it is the best. This one was a snap to get setup and working. The folding design and the easy to adjust clamp make this easy to adapt to any desk. The clamps are very stong. The folding is a little stiff at first but after I made some minor adjustments I got it working great.
