"Ever since I built my PC I've encountered the kernel-power 41 error in windows event history, where my GPU fans will go to max speed and my monitor will go to black despite the PC staying on. I've been dealing with this issue for almost a year and have ruled out high temps and tried every software fix possible. I finally realized that the daisy-chained PCIE cable this PSU comes with was NOT providing enough power to my GPU, thus causing the kernel-power 41 error. I purchased single cables to connect one slot each instead of being chained and have not encountered the error since."

The power supply went bad on my iBuypower PC and I asked Rufus what a good replacement would be and he recommended this power supply. The only negatives I see in other people's comments were that the cables feel cheap, but I disagree, they do feel thinner than the permanently mounted ones that you see, but they're made from a material that is more flexible then cheap hard plastic. I had spare length on every cable as well. My PC has the following specs:• Processor: Intel Core i7-14700F• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (8GB GDDR6)• Memory: 32GB DDR5 RGB RAM (5200MHz)• Storage: 1TB M.2 NVMe Solid State Drive• Motherboard: B760 WiFiThe power supply connected perfectly and powered right up. I couldn't be happier with this and would recommend it!omar m
