"The media could not be loaded. After 1 week of use my experience,1. The projector is fast, thanks to the Mediatek processor, and works without any lag.2. Excellent color contrast and perfect screen ratio for a great viewing experience.3. Sound quality is good for daily use, and Dolby audio works well with my Sony HT-RT3 5.1 surround speakers.4. Runs on Google TV 11 for easy access to apps and streaming platforms.5. Build quality is excellent, and it is proudly manufactured in India.6. Customer support is much better than other projectors available in the market.Areas of improvement:1. No optical port and only one HDMI ARC port, which makes connecting 4K content with Dolby 5.1 sound difficult without an additional converter, adding extra cost and messy setup.2. Fog or external temperature changes can cause the screen to become blurry and whitish; you need to wait at least 10 minutes for it to clear, with no warning on screen.3. The stand is non-adjustable, making it hard to set at a desired angle.4. Generates noticeable heat, blowing air toward the front, which can be uncomfortable if sitting nearby.5. Sometimes takes longer to shut down completely after using the remote.6. Google Assistant feels outdated; inbuilt Gemini AI would have been a better choice.7. The TLDR feature is not very useful in practical usage; a better launcher with updates like live cricket scores would be great.Updating my comments: (After lumio support response after 3 months )Cons: 1. No optical audio output for direct Dolby Atmos connection. 2. Only one HDMI input with no second HDMI or optical port. 3. Requires bulky AV receiver for full 4K HDR + Dolby multichannel sound. 4. Google TV struggles with large 4K files; needs external device support. 5. HDMI audio extractors cause Windows 11 Dolby audio issues. 6. Connectivity options are outdated for 2025 standards. 7. Lacks simple, modern multichannel audio passthrough solutions. 8. Forces users to invest in extra hardware unnecessarily for AV receiver"

We tried it during the India match last weekend, and honestly, I didn’t expect much. Just placed it in front of a plain white wall because we didn’t want to drill or set up anything fancy. But once the match started, the size of the screen actually caught us off guard. It felt way bigger than our TV. Even with a couple of lights on, the picture was still pretty clear. After the match, we put on Netflix. Setup was straightforward, no tech drama. The interface is simple enough that even my dad figured it out.Sound-wise, it’s not a full surround-sound system or anything, but for a regular living room, it’s more than enough. We didn’t feel the need to connect external speakers. It’s not some crazy cinema replacement, but for something that doesn’t need a complicated setup, it genuinely makes match nights and movie nights feel more fun.ashwani

The media could not be loaded. After spending over a month researching projectors across different brands and price segments, I finally chose the Lumio Arc 7 and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. If your budget is around ₹30,000, this is easily one of the strongest contenders in the market.Performance & DisplayThe Arc 7 delivers up to 100-inch projection officially, but in real-world use, I’ve comfortably extended it to nearly 200 inches without noticeable compromise in clarity or brightness. With 400 ANSI lumens and HDR10 support, visuals are sharp, colors feel vibrant, and blacks appear deep and punchy. Whether you’re watching sports, movies, or binge-worthy series, the viewing experience feels immersive even in moderately lit rooms.Smart Setup & UsabilityThanks to Lumio’s STR8 smart setup system, installation is effortless. Features like auto keystone correction (±30°), autofocus, obstacle avoidance, and 4-point manual keystone ensure perfect alignment within seconds. It truly feels plug-and-play.Streaming & Smart FeaturesThe projector comes with official Google TV and Netflix certification, giving you instant access to over 10,000 apps. Voice search, Google Photos, Chromecast, and the integrated TLDR app for sports and music make it a complete entertainment hub. No external streaming device is needed.Sound PerformanceOne of the most surprising aspects is the audio. The Arc 7 packs 16W speakers with a tuned passive radiator and Dolby Audio support. The sound is powerful, clear, and room-filling so much so that I rarely use my JBL Boombox 3 WiFi (which costs more than this projector). For most users, an external speaker simply won’t be necessary.Build & LongevityPowered by the ArcLight Engine, the fully sealed optical system prevents dust ingress and helps maintain picture quality over time an important factor for long-term reliability.ConnectivityWith HDMI 2.0 (ARC), 4K downscaling support, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-band Wi-Fi, and HDCP 1.4/2.3, connectivity is seamless across gaming consoles, laptops, streaming devices, and more. The included Smart Bluetooth Minion Noir Remote adds to the premium feel.Key Features (Short Highlights) • 400 ANSI Lumens • HDR10 Support • 100”+ Projection • Dolby Audio • 16W Speakers • 16GB ROM • 2GB RAM • Inbuilt Google TV • Netflix Certified • Auto Keystone Correction • Auto Focus • Auto Obstacle Avoidance • 4-Point Keystone • ArcLight Engine • HDMI 2.0 ARC • 4K Downscaling • Bluetooth 5.1 • Dual-Band Wi-Fi • Smart Bluetooth RemoteFinal VerdictFor anyone with a budget of around ₹30,000, the Lumio Arc 7 offers outstanding value. It combines strong brightness, impressive audio, smart features, and effortless setup into one powerful package. After extensive research and hands-on use, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny and saves you hours of comparing reviews online. If you want a projector that delivers a true big-screen experience without complications, the Arc 7 is an excellent choice.vamshi
