I got this GPS digital speedometer for my off-road truck, and it’s turned out to be a pretty useful device, especially when driving in the city. My truck’s built-in speedometer does not give me an accurate speed reading due to the much larger tires I installed, so this head-up display fills that gap nicely. The setup was fast, just plugged it in through the USB cable, and it connected to the satellite signal fairly quickly. The numbers are big and easy to read, which helps a lot when driving at night since I don’t have to keep glancing down at the dashboard.It’s more than just a speed display, too. It shows extra information like driving time, altitude, distance, acceleration, and even a compass. I also like that it includes fatigue and speed warnings, which can be helpful during long drives when you start losing track of time or pace. The heads up display and digital speedo is good quality being made from high quality plastics. It has a bright and easily to read display. It is visible in bright sun too.It is easy to install. The included cable just plugs into the ODBII jack. The unit then works immediately. Minimal set up is needed.The unit shows the speed instantly as you drive. It has lots of auxiliary gauges like tach, battery, boost, etc. there are several gauge layouts.
