"I have never gotten one of these before so I can't say if it is better than another product like it but it functions as it should, instructions were easy to follow. It was a little confusing at first because I will admit I didn't realize it needed to be attached to an existing filtration system but it did give the man of the house the push to install the filtration system the ladies of the house have been asking for. So I would say great value. Doesn't appear to be leaking at this point but who knows in the long run as we haven't had it in long but appears well constructed so a quality piece. I would figure what would give first might be like the seals like around connections so recommend keeping an eye there. We use tape stuff on any threaded connection for any plumping pieces and seems to work well for keeping the longevity of the connection but not a plumber so no guarantees.Water doesn't taste any different so not sure as to how it works in terms of killing things but it's an added peace of mind or overkill depending on your view point."

Just received and installed. Took about 5 minutes to install. It comes with ever thing you need including a tub cutter and hanging clips. I am replacing my RONAQUA unit that I installed less that a year ago. I quit working and no service or exchange. Was 30 day warranty. This unit is less expensive and comes with more accessories. Will let you know in a year if it's still working. Seems like a well built unit.grandpa og

Seems to be working so far. I have a full R.O. system and the water tastes great. We have a well and no issues as far as gastrointestinal goes. So I would say its working. Easy set up. Looks cool. Seem high quality. But I will update review in a year and let you know what I think of it then.rob
