"Biggest deficiency (which basically is a deal breaker) is that it can't peer into folders. It sees the folders and shows the titles but then can't go down into them and let you select lower level folders or a picture/video file. It just says that there is no readable content. If you pull the files out of folders, it sees them and displays the titles. I tried this with a VOB file that I recorded on one of my old camcorders. The device read it and played it but not very well. Video was fuzzy but also jittery - possibly because it could figure out correct frame rate. I tried the same experiment with a still (jpg) image but it couldn't read it at all (??). There aren't a lot of adjustment options to try to get it to work (and it really didn't matter since not being able to deal with a folder hierarchy makes it useless if you have 97,200 files on your HDD), so I sent it back. Too bad. Was excited to get a media player that could handle a 5 TB HDD."
