"The media could not be loaded. I purchased the TCL C6K/Q6C Mini LED TV in early August 2025 during an online sale, lured by its impressive specs for the price (~₹42–48K). The promise of Mini LED technology, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Google TV made it seem like a steal for my home entertainment setup. However, I only discovered the real issues after using it for a month. Below is my honest take based on real-life use.🟢The GoodPicture Quality: Deep blacks, punchy colors, and solid HDR performance. Watching OTT content (Netflix, Prime) is enjoyable with vibrant visuals.Sound: Surprisingly good for a budget TV. Onkyo 40W speakers fill the room and dialogues are crisp without an external soundbar.Features: Plenty of picture modes (Movie, Filmmaker, Sports etc.), VRR support for gaming, Google TV interface, Apple AirPlay, and even a few free TCL channels.Value: For ~₹42–48K during sales, the spec sheet looks strong — Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, 144Hz refresh rate, and more.🔴 The Bad (Real-Life Issues)Installation/Service: My TV arrived in August, but despite repeated follow-ups, TCL’s service team never showed up for installation. Extremely frustrating.Boot Time: Takes ~35–40 seconds to power onSports Mode: Watching cricket or football is poor. Motion blur, ghosting balls, and choppy playback spoil the experience.OS & Updates: Runs on outdated Android TV 12 with no updates in sight.IMAX Mode: Largely a marketing ploy. Rarely works with actual content — more of a buzzword than a functional feature.Multitasking: Switching apps forces a full reload each time. Feels like the TV lacks sufficient memory.⚖️ Final ThoughtsFor OTT shows, movies, or casual viewing, this TV delivers at its price. While watching cricket, you may need to tweak the motion settings a bit, as the ball can appear slightly blurry on default mode. The sound quality is surprisingly good, and honestly, there’s no immediate need for a home theatre setup.The screen size feels perfect, and the remote control is decent and easy to use. I’ve been using it for a week now and absolutely love watching 4K content on it. I absolutely love this TV.Performance, visuals, refresh rate top notch.The tv UI is google tv and its faster than Vida os. However, the reviews are true, the TV might take time to refresh whenever it opens. But it totally depends on the internet speed.Personally i have 300Mbps wifi and the tv is usable in 4-5 seconds.
