I've been looking for the perfect magnetic power bank for a while, and this Minthouz model is exactly what I needed. The fact that it's Qi2 certified makes a huge difference; the magnetic connection to my is strong and secure, and it delivers a genuinely fast wireless charge without the phone getting overly hot. I've had a few Minthouz accesories and whilst it's not a brand I was especially familiar with, I have started to recognise that they are invariably well thought out, nicely designed and well-constructed pieces of kit. This battery is no different.This is quite a small capacity battery but it's perfect to top up on a night out. This thing is tiny, weighing just 135g. It's very low profile, and slips easily into your pocket with your phone. With MagSafe compatibility, it snaps onto the back of an iPhone (or MagSafe case) securely, so no wobbling or fuss. As well as fast QI2 rated wireless charging it also has a USB-C port which will also fast charge. It's simple to use, and doesn't get excessively hot when charging wirelessly.Whilst there is no digital display there is a ring of LEDs that provide info on the charge state and type of charging that is taking place.My son's 14 Pro Max just about got a full charge, though I'm not convinced by the advertised 5,000 mAh capacity. It’s great a top up on a night out, but don’t expect multiple full charges.At £30, it’s reasonably priced, especially for iPhone users who want an easy, portable charging solution.
