"If I was looking at the reviews, I know what the main reason would be: The flavor. It's probably not a surprise that in a pea based protein powder without any artificial additives, the natural pea flavor can be pretty strong. If you drink it alone, or mix it with something lighter in taste, you might notice that distinct pea flavor. I didn’t mind it too much, but I found it a bit more noticeable than some of the other plant based protein powders I’ve tried. Mixing it into a smoothie with other ingredients helped mask it a bit, but it still left a small aftertaste. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re particular about flavor. The size 2lb bag is great! It provides 30 servings according to the nutritional fact, which feels like a solid amount per serving. The scoop is large (about 30g), and within that, you’re getting a solid 24g of protein, which is fantastic, especially for plant-based options. One of the things I look for in protein powders is no artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors or sugar. This checks all those boxes and is also non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free, which may be important info for some of you.The powder also dissolves well, I've had powders that are likely to clump or collect at the bottom, so that's a nice quality.Texture wise, it has a slightly gritty feel compared to some other powders I’ve used, but it isn't a deal breaker. Also regarding the freshness of the product, this is marked as "EXP 11302026", so it's good for more than a year and a half, which is nice to know that it'll last for a while.Honestly, if you're looking at the reviews, you probably want to know what positive reviews don't love about the product. For me, it's the after taste and texture, neither of which are big deal, but both are good things to know before buying."

This powder is finely ground and adds thickening to soups or protein drinks or or sauce with very little flavor added. It also boosts protein in foods. It is a bit hard for me to digest, but I found with digestive aids I can handle it with light GI issues.your number one fan

I love that this I love that this is non-gmo without additives (sugar, flavors, etc). The texture looks kinda like hardpack sand. I was impressed with how easily this dissolved; seems like it only required one stir to get it pretty much dissolved. No clumping or sediment noted. The flavor was, of course, kinda plain but I don't think it tasted nasty or anything. Nice full mouthfeel. I only used water so I could judge it's flavor more accurately, but I think it would nicely complement some yogurt with fruit or even work as a coffee additive. No bloating or side effects noted, went down easy.Anonymous

This bag is actually quite large. I am used to buying whey protein so a 2lb bag is a great size. The scoop is quite large but equates to about 30g. They claim they do not add any artificial sweeteners, flavors, soy, sugar, or anything. Which leads me to the only thing to note really is that it does have a distinct pea type flavor if you don't mix it with anything or if mixed with something lighter in taste. I ended up using it in my protein smoothie and mixing in some of my regular chocolate flavored protein powder to help cover it up but it still left a little bit of an aftertaste. No problem for me though since it didn't really bother me but something to note. It is a whopping 24g of protein in a scoop (30g) so it is a great source of protein. Great way to add protein to your diet.mrs sk spencer

Absolutely wonderful . I’ve had it as soup and curry sauce so far but I think it could be made into lasagne sauces with tomato etc . So simple just make a paste and add the pea powder and any spices and boiling water, makes a great texture soup instantly , great protein boost . You can make so many other things as it’s quite bland on its own but make it sweet , fruity or savoury . Don’t be put off by the thick powder of texture when you first make it . I’m finding it invaluable to get my protein lecels up .pn
