"12/29/25. As we get further into the boots' first winter I am finding a lot to like. They come on and off easily when you are sitting and are the perfect size for a grab and go sloppy weather boot. Another plus is they wear a pair of large Yak Trax very well.Updated thoughts. Perfect for wearing in winter slop. I do wish the fit was tighter for me, maybe an 11 would have worked. As previously noted there is a lot of volume in the footbed. Also, you can't really step into them and go; they are tight at the ankle and you need the pull straps to get past it. The contrast between ankle tightness and too much foot room is odd.Unused out of box so 4 stars hopefully going up to 5. Here is the drill. Out of box they look good. No obvious tears, cracks, loose threads or other flaws. Now the fit. I wear size 13 in shoes. Based on reviews and the fact I plan to only wear a normal sock I ordered 12s. It was the right call. For length, I have a thumb width at big toe's end, like you want for running shoes. First thing I noticed was how much volume is in the foot part of the boot. They are wide at the ankle and the foot including the heel. If you are planning to wear only one sock your foot will have lots of room, probably too much. I don't foresee anything but shorter walks for these so it shouldn't be a problem for me. And there is a solution. I took the liner out of an old pair of Saucony running shoes and put it over the existing liner. That helped a lot and now the fit is tighter and more comfortable. Still not super tight at heel though. As other reviewers have noted, the top opening is large enough so that pants can be tucked in. It's not elasticy that is tight to your leg. The boots can be stepped into. So my first impression is quite favorable and I have decided to keep the boots."
