"After less than a year of light usage, the middle mouse button has begun malfunctioning by failing to register clicks. For $100 I expected more. There's nothing I did to cause this other than typical use, so I'm chalking it up to planned obsolescence. I bought this mouse specifically to get away from Logitech and Razer's consistently awful products, but I now know that ASUS is no better. Lesson learned: stay away from big-name manufacturers that can afford to abuse their customers. The best mouse I've ever owned was from an unknown Chinese company that doesn't exist anymore. It's frustrating that shopping for hardware is a throw of the dice these days, but I'd rather gamble than return to these "reputable" companies with my tail between my legs."
