"The canister that fills the water keeps popping out so I have to put a rock on top of it. The water is great and I actually like this one. It’s easy to refill the water container. and the water taste great I’m gonna keep it even though I have to put this rock on top of it"

This has saved us tons of money on buying bottled water. Make sure you wash it like the instructions indicate before using and you should be good. Only dowside is the filters all need replacing every 4 months not once a year or every 6 months. To be fair though i drink tons of water. All in all very satisfied with the purchase and highly recommend it.

I have an under-counter reverse osmosis system that I love. It removes the fluoride, lead and microplastic from the water we cook with and drink, and pumps waste water back into our hot water system so that it doesn't actually waste anything. However, we live in interesting times. So interesting, in fact, that the EU recently directed it's citizens to stock up on essentials, including bottled water, in the event of an emergency, natural or otherwise. With the ever growing threat of a cyber attack on our infrastructure and with more and more of our nation's water systems being run by cloud systems, it's more important than ever to have a backup plan for keeping your family alive and healthy. Dreo's countertop RO water filter is a part of my answer to "what do we drink if there's no water coming out of the faucet?" with the other parts being a nearby freshwater creek, a rain barrel and a solar system to actually power it.The device uses two filters - a PPC filter that needs replaced every 530 gallons and a RO membrane filter that needs replaced every 1,000 or so gallons. Currently, they're $30 and $40 respectively, putting it at about $100 per 1,000 gallons of purified water - or about ten cents a gallon. As long as you have a reliable electricity source, the filters that come with the unit will produce 500 gallons of purified water - enough to last two people about eight months. Even if you add in the price of the unit itself, it's thirty four cents a gallon - absolutely worth it for clean water.Setup is easy - much easier than the install of my under-sink unit. It produces water that tastes good. It removes all of the horrid chlorine smell and taste from my water. The built in TDS meter matches the readout on my own TDS meter within one or two PPM, so it's providing an accurate readout. I haven't had any issues with it leaking and haven't gotten any error codes, though I've only used it about a dozen times so far. The pitchers are convenient, as is the ability to dispense directly into a glass. It takes up just as much space on my countertop as a coffee maker, operates quietly, and fortunately, there's a child lock so that my son doesn't dispense water all over the counter. And it looks nice, and is built well.I'm thrilled with it. Though I hope that we never have to turn it on long term, it's worth it for the peace of mind it provides.

I bought this product last December. It came with an extra pitcher which i thought was a great idea for larger families. The product worked at stated and the water was crisp and refreshing. The price, though a little hefty, but was less than other RO systems. The tank used for raw water was a good size. I live alone and have to refill once a day, a 45 second job. For a larger family this would have to be multiple times a day but still no big deal. I liked the display giving lots of info and going dark after a few minutes when not in use. It also has a separate dispenser for individual cups of water and you can select from 8, 12, or 16 oz, or you can just hit the teardrop and dispense any amount you want. I love this and i keep a small glass there so i can just hit the button to get a little water for cooking or a fly by drink. Now I need to say something about the customer service. One day part of the info display disappeared that showed the raw TDS and filter status. I shut the filter off and restarted but still had the same issue. I called customer service (not a long wait for a rep) and explained the issue. He didn't offer any possible fixes but told me to send a picture of the display and shipping info and that Dreo would send a new RO system. I was pleased and went to take a photo of the display I noticed an INFO button which I hit. Well the whole display came back on. Somehow i hit that button by mistake (this is what happens when a person doesn't read the whole manual). Now if I were a dishonest person I would have sent the shipping details and photo, of course I didn't. I did however email Dreo back to tell them what happened and if another customer has this same issue to explain to them how to correct. Dreo has many products and i think that the water filtration system is new to their line up because I didn't see it on their website. I also have a Dreo space heater which I also love. In conclusion I recommend this product.

I love going to a certain green coffee shop and getting an ice water. I love the taste of the water there. In my quest to have it at home I found out about Reverse Osmosis at home and this little counter top unit does a great job at it. Keeps up with my family of five. In blind tasting with my family we found it was neck and neck with the coffee shop water.
