"This is my first experience with a resin printer, and so far, it’s been working very well. This is a low-resolution machine, and it shows, but for most applications, it’s not really an issue. It’s certainly better than FDM printers. My only major gripe, and it is major, is the proprietary FEP assembly. This is a consumable part, and I discovered the hard way that the only way I can buy it in Canada is on AliExpress for over twice what normal FEPs cost. I’ve heard that you can print replacement frames that just use normal FEPs, but there shouldn’t need to be a workaround.Also, and this is a note about resin printers in general, they’re not just magic boxes that will turn any STL into a perfect plastic replica all on their own. Your first few prints will most likely fail. Read the forums. See what settings people are using for your specific resin on your specific printer. Level your print bed before every print, and clean it thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol afterwards. Always wear gloves and, if possible, a respirator. Make sure you have a plan for what to do if you spill resin. Keep the printer well ventilated and/or away from your main living space. This printer is amazing, and I would highly recommend it, but make sure you know what you’re doing first.Also, for those wondering, no, it does not come with any resin. I’ve gotten okay, if highly brittle, results with Elegoo ABS-Like Grey, but from what I’ve heard, Sirayatech Blu is much better."
