"Bought this sharpener to try out after watching reviews. Have previously used whetstones, Lansky systems, a Chef's Choice electric sharpener, and others. Was curious how it would stack up.The product is pretty much fool-proof, and is much easier to use compared to learning with whetstones, mostly because the angled block holds your angle for you. The abrasive wheel does not take much material off with each pass, so no real danger of overuse and damaging the blade. It was not easy to create a burr, and I would recommend just rolling in 60 second increments on both sides and checking. The honing side is ok and does its job. This will not outperform a whetstone, those are used by professionals for a reason. This product would not get a knife sharp enough to shave, but it did have the knife going through pork belly like butter.I would also say that a good electric sharpener would be better for most given they are equally easy but quicker, but they also cost more and take up more room. This is ideal for people who want to sharpen knives but don't want to spend hours practicing on a whetstone. This is small and easy to store, doesn't require electricity so it can be used anywhere. Also, I love that this is a quarter of the price of the name-brand Tumbler. I recommend for anyone other than a professional cook."

I own several sharpeners, from electric models to traditional wet stones, and this one is by far the easiest and most efficient. The magnetic guide that holds the knife at a perfect 15° or 20° angle is fantastic. I can take a blade from dull to razor-sharp very quickly I sharpened eight knives in no time. I love the compact size; it’s easy to store and pull out whenever I need it. While I like my electric sharpener, it’s noisy and unusable when my babies are sleeping. This one is quiet enough to use anytime. The build quality is excellent—very solid and clearly built to last. It even works well with large butcher knives (stacking a cutting board or two helps). I also feel confident using it on my high-end knives. I have no complaints and am already considering buying another as a gift or backup.gigi
My husband is a cook and he had never seen this type of sharpener before.…
My husband is a cook and he had never seen this type of sharpener before. He LOVES it. It makes getting the sharpening angle correct really easy. And it is so easy and simple to use. Great quality and fantastic value. If you have someone who cooks a lot or likes to cook period, get them this, or for yourself - it is really awesome. The box it comes in makes it easily portable so taking it to work is no problem.terence wise

Wanted to try a roller sharpener but really wasn't too sure about the crazy prices…
Wanted to try a roller sharpener but really wasn't too sure about the crazy prices out there for other sets. The concept makes total sense, and the stone materials are all the same so I gave this one a chance and was super impressed! I'm not cooking in a commercial kitchen and I just cook at home and always need a sharp blade! Tested this out with a santoku that I had stopped using for a while because the edge has worn down and i had some very minor pitting on the edge. Hit it with the 15 degree grit diamond side and loved the smoothness of the barrel roll and the edge restored on my knife! Great value for the money and a very nice giftable set for anyone in your life that cooks!hk electronics outlet
I picked up this rolling knife sharpener to bring some life back to our dulling…
I picked up this rolling knife sharpener to bring some life back to our dulling kitchen knives, and it’s honestly made the whole process ridiculously easy. I was getting tired of grabbing a knife and struggling to slice through meat or even something as simple as a tomato. This completely solved that problem. For the price, this sharpener can absolutely hold its own against the big-name rolling sharpeners that cost two to three times more. The included angle guide offers 15° and 20° sharpening angles, which covers the vast majority of kitchen and utility knives. The magnets are impressively strong, holding the blade securely in place and making it easy to maintain a perfectly consistent angle while sharpening. The dual-sided roller is well thought out: #400 grit diamond abrasive side does the heavy lifting and restores the edge quickly, which the #3000 grit ceramic disc side polishes and hones the blade to a razor-sharp finish. The wooden construction of both the angle guide and roller feels solid and well made, with a smooth finish that still provides plenty of grip for safe use. Overall, this sharpener delivers excellent results with minimal effort and has made knife maintenance something I no longer dread. If you’re tired of dull knives and overpriced sharpeners, this is an easy recommendation.pete t

**UPDATE**Lowering this to 3 stars. The magnetic holder for the knife started falling apart fate a month of use. Definitely needed to keep the knife in place and not loosely sliding around.I saw a more well known brand of this which is a lot more than this one in cost. After watching the video and reading reviews if this, I decided to give this a try. When I opened the package tonight, I took one of my more crappy knives from the drawer and decided to try it. I am just floored how good this thing works and how sharp it will make your knife. The magnet holds the knife firm and the smooth rolling of the sharpener makes this thing “almost” fool proof. I’ll be buying several of these as Christmas presents because everyone should have one of these! What Customers Talk About
