"It's nice to see real wood hangers. These wide ones are great for suits, jackets, and coats which don't do too well using cheap plastic hangers. However, these types of wooden hangers also have an Achille's heel which is the hook that eventually gets stripped and falls out of the hanger, rendering the whole hanger useless. With that, use the hook portion very carefully and don't put too heavy of a load, certainly not multiple winter coats on the same hanger. I hope these are more durable than the similar variety in the past. These are not that cheap clocking in close to $6 each even in a set, so I knocked down a star for that."
