"I really wish I could recommend these. Beautiful sound, good ANC, excellent battery, good build quality and comfortable - but dragged down brutally by virtually nonexistent Windows support and unreliable behaviour.You cannot use the analogue jack with Windows, because it enforces headset mode and unusable audio quality. Playing games with audio chat(even if that is disabled in the game)? You will probably have to disable the headset mode in Windows devices to stop it enforcing that headset mode and associated horrible audio quality.I had to purchase 3rd party software to gain proper aptX codec support. Sennheiser seem to expect you to purchase an additional USB adapter for 'proper' functionality, and offer no software for Windows to compensate for the laundry list of basic issues.... almost all of which could be resolved with software.If you don't disable the auto-off function or leave them connected to BOTH your phone and PC, they will turn off. I have no idea how that works.A lot of this is down to Windows being terrible, but Sennheiser make no effort to compensate and advertising these as Windows compatible is a matter of the end user researching and troubleshooting pervasive issues Sennheiser should have not allowed to drag their product down.On-head detection features have demonstrated several odd issues. Sometimes ANC just doesn't seem to work. Play/pause _usually_ works. At times, on-head detection won't work or will trigger randomly. Touch controls are fine, but just fine... and right-handed only.The main redeeming features are the close to peerless (in this pricerange + bluetooth) audio experience, the fantastic battery life and comfort - but these come with tradeoffs you probably don't want to make. At this price, the downsides are not acceptable."

After many years and many attempts with finding (my) perfect headphones I am finally satisfied. I purchased a pair of expensive but very nice Sennheiser HD660S2 open back headphones. Music played through them sounds great...but I am sadly a person who wonders could things be better? I fell into the trap of buying different DAC gizmos and cables which if I am being honest did nothing to improve the sound. And believe me, I have bought many other headphones, currently owning B&W, Grado, FiiO and Beyerdynamic models all in the search for sonic Nirvana. I was sick to the back teeth of fiddling about and listening to equipment performance instead of enjoying music. So I thought I'd give a decent pair of wireless headphones a go thinking that it would at least take cables and DAC's out of the equation. After seeing the Momentum 4's on sale for £199 and reading positive reviews about them I decided to give them a go with a view to returning them if they weren't up to scratch. I'm glad to say they exceeded my expectations. They are so good that I am amazed really. They excell with all genres, just lovely. Crisp highs and lows as low as to be subterranean when called upon. As good or better than all my other headphones irregardless of price. Plus all the convenience of wireless connectivity. With all the questions (for me) of 'what if I do this' removed I feel I can get on with spending on new music rather than equipment. As for build quality and comfort I can't fault them, they come with a nice sturdy case as well. Oh and battery life is outstanding. I don't wear headphones outdoors so I don't use any of the features built into the right ear cup via touch, preferring to keep them switched off by utilising the Sennheiser app. Once I had used the EQ part of the app to find my preferred profile I have felt no need to look at it again. If these headphones continue to work for many years I know I'll not be buying any new models again.blobz1800

Love these. When my B&Ws PX 7's broke I really was very annoyed but have to say these have been a joy with a much more well behaved bass end and great stereo separation.Im a musician with a home studio that understands music pretty well and have to say for the money these are excellent.Functionality I think they are very intuitive and easy to use. As someone who never remembers those strange hand gestures and swipes on the side of headphones these are very easy to use to start/stop and change volume etcOnly gripe is the connectivity when I get phone call is perhaps too good as they connect whether im using them or not!geoff r

I have used them and they are good but I haven’t really had anything to compare them with and I noticed that the older model were a lot cheaper.
