"Guys, this vacuum is a total rip off. For the $200 price tag, this thing is a JOKE. My mom bought this and was happy with it, but she has no idea what a rip off it is. There are two specs (specifications) you want to look for when purchasing a vacuum: watts, and kpa. Watts is the amount of power it consumes, and kpa is the amount of suction force it can generate. They are not directly proportional, but they are related in the sense that more power consumption (watts) will typically give you more suction force (kpa). So what does that mean for this vacuum? The lvac-200 model of this vacuum is only a 180w vacuum. In the context of what wattage and kpa other vacuums are making, that’s a JOKE! They don’t even advertise the kpa, because at that wattage rating it’s probably next to nothing. If you look at other cordless vacuums, they are rated as high as 800w and 60kpa, which is a respectable rating given that expensive corded vacuums are typically pulling around 1,100w. You’ll rarely, if ever, get the same ratings as a corded vacuum from a battery powered cordless one, but 800w is pretty close, and the best I’ve found so far.PLEASE stop googling things like “best cordless vacuums” when you’re making decisions as to what you want to buy. There’s an article that pops up that lists this vacuum as their first choice, and guys, this thing is a JOKE! Do you know why the article listed this first? Because this company paid them to! There’s even a direct link in the article that leads to this Amazon product page so you can purchase this vacuum. And do you know why this vacuum is near the top of the search results when you search for cordless vacuums on Amazon? Because this company pays Amazon to put their product at the top of the search results! That is NOT my “conspiracy theory” or anything like that. That IS how this works, and that’s why most products at the top of the Amazon search results says “sponsored” next to them: because they’re paying to have their product near the top.Now all that said, how is the company paying for all of this advertising? By charging YOU $200 for this JOKE of a vacuum cleaner!! PLEASE catch on that the philosophy of these companies is that as long as you see their product first, that’s the one you’ll buy, so they pay a ton of money to advertise it so that you’ll see it and buy it, and they pass the cost of that advertising on to you in the price of the product you’re buying. That’s why this piece of GARBAGE costs $200: because it’s a $50 vacuum cleaner with $150 of advertising costs stacked on top!In summary, I returned this junk on my mom’s behalf, and I ordered her a new cordless that comes with 2 batteries, pulls 800w, and suctions with 60kpa. It’s more than double what this vacuum is, and it was about $40 less than this one.I hope anyone reading this WAKES. UP. and stops throwing their money away on garbage. Have a little self respect! Why do you allow these companies to sell you junk at an exorbitant price? When making any purchase decision, stop relying on a third party review, and instead learn the specs that are relevant to what you’re purchasing (watts and kpa), find products that meet those specs (800 watts and 60kpa) and then pick the one that has the better features (like extra attachments or two batteries, for example). THAT is how you make a good decision and get your moneys worth. THIS piece of garbage is a prime example of the power of an effective purchase funnel, and that’s ALL this is: effective advertising!I hope this helps someone make informed decisions and get their moneys worth out of their products in the future."

We bought this model of Levoit vacuum (the LVAC-200) after using the more expensive model at work (the LVAC-300). The 300 was so terrific to use at work that we wanted to get a Levoit for our home. However, we didn't need the larger size dust collector canister that the 300 has (which is perfect for doing a huge amount of carpeting in a professional building), so we went with the more economical 200 model. The model 200 has been excellent for home use. The vacuum is super easy to set up and use. The suction power is very good. The battery charge lasts at least 45 minutes of continual use. The tangle resistant roller design is important, since we have two long haired spaniels. In fact, I haven't had the need to pull hair out of the rollers like I always had to do with our Eureka WindTunnel. The dust collector is easy to clean. The vacuum is very light and easy to maneuver. The brush head can turn into a 90" angle when vacuuming, so it can get way into corners and small spaces. You can fold it completely flat to vacuum way under the beds.We have compared using this vacuum to our Eureka WindTunnel by thoroughly vacuuming a carpet first with the WindTunnel. Then, we vacuumed the same carpet with the Levoit. The Levoit picked up a ton of dirt and hair that the WindTunnel missed. It was pretty shocking how much the WindTunnel missed.I also love the fact that we don't have to adjust the roller height for different surfaces (like we always had to do with the WindTunnel). The Levoit moves effortlessly from bare floor to carpeting and doesn't miss any of the dirt along the edges of the carpet. When you look closely at the bare floor after vacuuming, you can see that the Levoit really got all the dust off the surface. Great suction power. We did go ahead and purchase additional batteries so we can always have one charging and ready to go. We also got extra filters. The Levoit customer service is very responsive, friendly, and professional. We had a question which they answered within 24 hours and then they followed up again to make sure that they completely answered our question (they did) and to see if we needed any further assistance. Very cool.I guess you can see that we really like this vacuum; it has been a real game-changer for us. I actually look forward to vacuuming.mari

I don't believe in writing a review unless I have had the product for a while. So here is my review after more than 6 months with this awesome vacuum. I absolutely love it!!! I have mostly hardwood floors with a few wool rugs. It does a great job with both surfaces since I don't have carpets In can't say anything about that. It's easy to use it moves freely and it can go under my furniture, the light is great so I can see in dark areas. The battery so far is long lasting I can do the whole house with one charge, just under 2000 square feet. Great suction power, I am also an ex house cleaner and this is the best vacuum for hard floors that I have ever used. Have recommended to friends and family, my best friend bought it and loves it.Anonymous

I have used the LVAC-200 Vacuum from Levoit several times now, cleaning it, and using it again, since purchased. All has been as described on Amazon with the exception of the hair-catching roller. It Does easily unlock and pull out from the vacuum head. However, in all the times I have used it, there has been a total of only a few long strands of hair caught in the two outer edges of the roller, near the places where the roller connects when in the head.At the same time, every time I stop vacuuming, I clean out the dust cup, and have found hair wrapped around the metal filter's plastic handle.Other than the hair catching roller not working as described in the Amazon product description, the vacuum seems to be high quality, enough that I recommend it. The vacuum's cleaning power, storage capacity, and longevity are very nice. It is lightweight, maneuvers well, the lights on the front are really helpful, and my expereince with the versatility of using it under furnishings on carpet, on my hardfloors, and on my carpeted staircase has been satisfying.carlooks

Very agile, light and easy to use in house with 2 very large, shaggy dogs, hardwood floors & wool carpets, plus bikes brought indoors. Very easy to unclog dog hair and twigs, especially the floor brush. Even on power 2, it’s picking up dust deep in carpets. Very handy that it stands up alone when not in use. Battery lasts longer than I want to vacuum & recharges fairly fast. Crevice tool has clever brush, is very effective. Dirt container is small but very, very easy to dump & clean. I’ve had 2 Dysons, two full-size canister types & 1 other “stick” vac. : this LEVOIT works better than any of them. So easy & effective I got a 2nd LEVOIT for upstairs & may get 3rd for another location.brian gomez

I really enjoy this vaccum a lot. Very easy to work with especially building the vaccum when it first arrive. The suction power is extremely strong and the size for it is impressive. The power is about 30 minutes on the lowest setting and that’s all I really need. Gets my floor pretty clean and I am able to clean the filter relatively easy. I’d recommend to anyone for a budget stick vacuum.katherine sons
