Most Helpful Review

"I like a rigid enclosed wallet so all my cards and money are not visible. This one is exactly what I look for. The built of the wallet is very sturdy and strong as Pelican is known for. The hinges are well built and probably will last. The clasp is thin and plastic. It might not last but time will tell. Functionally I have no complaints. It is easy to store and retrieve cards in the card compartment not like most thin MagSafe wallet that I have to struggle with. I can store a max of 4 cards. The lid is good for storing money or business cards. I found the wide strap made it difficult to manipulate stiff credit cards. My only negative comment is personal. I found it a bit too industrial looking with the exposed hinges and studs and hard ridges. I prefer more smooth curves and elegant design. Again it is just my aesthetic preference."

I live in a city with a wonderful metro system, the only downfall is that the card used to pay the fares I tend to lose. I don’t necessarily use this as my primary wallet but it is perfect for keeping my metro card handy! You can fit about 3 cards in this and it attached pretty strongly to my phone (with a case on). It’s not bulky in your hand, I absolutely love this product.

So far I've been able to tell lots of people who ask that my kayak and wallet are the same brand! :P Very handy! Just find the attachment for money could be a bit more spacious, the ridges on the back cut into internal storage space a bit too much for my liking. But it could be there for a good engineering reason. It's been used every day since I've gotten it, been overloaded with things (1 tracking card, 2-3 cards, money, a cheque, papers I need to save, etc), so it's been beaten a bit.I expect that I'll be the one to kill it by misusing it and overloading the hinge, rather than a defect in manufacturing.

Strong hold, strong latch, water tight, doesn't fit my phone but took a chance that my model might work. My fault.
