I work in the door hardware industry. I know the problems of having stick-on gasketing not stick. This stuff has no issues, it's easy to install and doesn't easily come off. Light will pass thru the white. I have a white door with white trim so I used the white gasket. Looks great, except when the door is closed the light lighting up the white gasket makes it look like the gap is still there, but it's not. The stuff works.dr j
