"First off this is the husband writing the review.These stands are almost perfect. Well constructed. Sturdy. Easy to put together and install.To the manufacturing company, I hope you consider this when updating the design. A) Someone already pointed out that, if the desk is too close to the wall, these are not going to fit as the platform sticks to much in the back. I have about 3"-4" from wall to desk and the platform touches the wall. Granted, the platform is not flush with the wall as I aimed the speakers towards my ears; something to consider nonetheless. B) There is no way to route the cable through the stand, therefore if not tied down, it dangles from the back. I used zip ties to hold the cable at the top and bottom so the installation looks a little cleaner.I'm very satisfied overall. 4 stars due to the points mentioned above."

VIVO sells a lot of products like this, clamp on type thing. This is good quality, simple to install. I'm using them to hold up a couple of powered speakers to get them off the desk and these work great. Very happy with them. The are very much a flat pack, so there is assembly required. You have to apply the foam strips your self too. The assembly isn't complex. Screw goes through lock washer then metal plate, plastic cup washer and screws into threaded hole in tube. Apply foam to isolate speaker from plate and Clamp to table. That's about it. Takes longer to clamp them to the table then assemble them. You'll need a phillips screw driver.I like them. They aren't fancy (why would they be) but they work.nicolas

I have these guys holding up two PreSonus Eris Studio 5 5.25-inch studio monitors, and it's been doing just that for over a year now. These things may as well just be part of my desk at this point, as I've have zero issues with them. The speakers are still precisely where I situated them 13 months ago, and I did situate them precisely. No shake, no drift, no droop. They may as well be made of concrete.They are well-sized for my speakers -- which have a 8x8-inch footprint -- leaving only half an inch of space to either side of each speaker. I bet they'd be just as good for anything smaller and some things which might be a tad larger.I bet they'd also just make really good stands for anything else for which you might want a clamp-on stand. Got two of these for a nearly all white setup in my home office. They're very easy to put together. I imagine that's the case even if one is not particularly inclined toward such things. The stability was very good. I don't find any play in the assembly process and with speakers on them, they are rock steady. I have a heavy desk on wheels, and these things have handled being still attached to the desk and moved around very easy. They have handled all of that very well. I also turned my speakers all the way up, and I don't detect any vibrations or other types of rattling. Best thing of all, they largely fit the style I'm going for in my office. I only wish that the padding was white. It's a bit distracting having to look at that if your speakers don't cover it up to hide it. I wanted to only detect half a star, but Amazon only allows whole number increments. I can't see giving these four stars though. So, five stars it is!jman995x

Very well made, with a range of heights.Easy to assemble.Steadfastly clamps to my desk (have backed / bumped into them, and they didn't budge).The only "upgrade" I wish they had is more of a "ball head" mount for the shelf (similar to that on a Tripod.
