"I have been buying these exact ones for the last couple of years maybe 50-100 at a time. The last batch they have changed the design. Unfortunately I found out the hard way on a job and they ruined a few expensive stage lights. I just had to go through several of my last jobs to track down all the faulty ones I purchased recently so they don't cause problems later for my buisness. Unfortunately I purchased them too lang ago to get my money back so I just threw them all away. They also cost me a lot of labor to change back out with ones that work.The front face plate is too thick now. It's 1/2 thick. A standard electrical cord plug barely sticks through the faceplate to get to the contacts. A standard plug prong is only 5/8in long so that only leaves 1/8in to try and get a good contact and grab the prong. A plug will barely will stay plugged in cause it's only trying to grab the very tip. If it's a two prong cord won't stay in at all. A typical tamper resistant outlet you should have to push the plug hard but these almost just fall in with no resistance. If you bump the cord it falls right out. This would not pass UL listing criteria and they should remove that statement. Changing the design should require them to go back through the UL testing requirements."
