"I think the numbing effect really does help with the itching and it does seem to help the skin moisture retain, but you know - it's just never enough with eczema. When you itch, you like really, really, really itch RIGHT NOW. And when you are dry, nothing keeps your skin moisturized. Don't expect miracles, I guess."

If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would. Despite the name, not oily at all. A thick cream that absorbs quickly, dries smooth, and eliminates eczema itchiness and dryness, although for extreme eczema outbreaks you may have to apply it a few times. I wish they still consistently carried this larger size, because it seems to be getting hard to find this product at all, let alone in a size that is more for the money.raulfblink
