"The battery life is long and the sound is loud for good tracking. That said, ours was a bit stubborn and we struggled to get the sound too turn off once we found our keys. We put one on each keychain and our TV remote.We just barely took them all off because it wasn't worth dealing with the neverending beeping, and because the quality is pretty low. When I took mine off of my keys it was cracked down the middle so it can't really handle any heavy use.It was easy to set up and pretty cheap so there is that. Also this would be more valuable to someone in a larger home. In a small apartment we just didn't end up using it as much as we thought that we would and it didn't save us much time in looking for our keys."

It works just fine out of the box. I wish you could have been a little smaller because I attached it to my phone as I am always loseing it. The alarm is not too high not too low just right. I have not tested it for distance yet but I am happy with the productmamazon
