"Quality of this Jorest kit is poor. The end of the pin punch is drilled & threaded crooked, so the screw-in pins attach crooked. Most additional pins are also crooked. Almost impossible to use it to remove pins in a metal watch band… the screw-in pins in this punch bend every time.The skinny shaft of the hammer is hard to hold; you’ll have to add your own grip (or at least wrap with tape).The included selection of spring bars all came highly magnetized… worst thing for a watch, especially a windup or automatic movement.Sloppy threaded holes in the “pin pusher” tool cause the threaded driver part to wobble too much; you’ll scratch a lot of bracelets, if the pin doesn’t get bent. The pin pusher tool is not as in the pictures; it’s actually the “better” style with an adjustable pad upon which the bracelet rests. But that “better” tool was also drilled with loose & sloppy holes, so the pin doesn’t push straight.For $3.00 more, I ordered the “upgraded” (my words) blue coloured Jorest kit. It contains the same tools as in this kit; has a better hammer (has a knurled grip attached to the shaft), tighter pin pusher, straight drilled punch, straight replaceable pins for the punch and the extra spring bars aren’t magnetized. The combination spring-bar-remover/pin-punch-tool is better quality and includes a ruler etched into the side. The only useless component is the included “hole punch” intended for resizing leather watch bands. The end is very dull, I doubt it’ll pierce paper (I can easily sharpen it but I have a much better leather punch).At $17.99 the Jorest blue kit (with a cardboard storage box) is a great deal and much better than this kit at $14.99.Buy the blue kit and you’ll be happy."
