"This is actually the second kind of cat bowls I have bought and they are perfect! The first kind we bought was similar in type of wood and concept. But it was way shorter and smaller. This is actually the perfect height for both of my cats. They have LOTS of fur and tend to have LOTS of hairballs. But this has seemed to do the trick. I’ve researched that the height and angle of the bowls is important for their health and will cut back on the amount of hairballs. Which is a God send, let me tell you. Of course, they will likely continue to have hairballs since they are ALWAYS licking themselves and can’t help how furry they are. But, it seems to have slowed down the amount they have. It’s also known to help with whisker health from my understanding. I’m not sure if it’s the width of the bowls that helps cats to not get whisker fatigue or what. And I think that’s more of a long-term effect, so I can’t give a huge review about the effectiveness in that aspect. But as far as everything else, it’s perfect. It’s also very astute looking and adds a bit of that modern look to it. The wood is great quality and so are the bowls it comes with. It holds a big amount of food, which is nice if we are gone for long periods of time throughout the day. Since they are grazers that’s super helpful. I used to have to use 4 different bowls and bought a fountain just to keep the bowls for food only because they were tiny. I think this was because we had them since they were little babies, so it was time to graduate them anyways. Now I only need these two bowls in this ONE stand and it’s perfectly functional and brilliantly stylish. Great price for this too! I was shocked at how much cheaper than most of the fancy bowls I had seen and expected it to be a bit cheap looking also. So, that’s a big plus too. It’s worth the money. I’m very happy about this purchase!"
