"Be very wary if you buy these for your car key! Bought these for our two keys for our Ford CMax. Replaced the worn out batteries with these and within a day the car would not open at all and once opened alarm went off and couldn't be stopped and still wouldn't start. Been on an off since then like an intermittent fault. Got an auto electrician involved, never thought about the key batteries. He couldn't find a fault in the car system and asked if we'd changed the batteries recently. We told him what we'd done and he asked me to get some duracell batteries. Fitted them and cured the problem. Apparently a lot of cars require top end batteries for their proximity/keyless technology. We can use these for other needs but for our car keys they are useless."
