"Purchase the turbo with the 100k candela. I would say that is pretty accurate when comparing to my cloud defensive rein 3. The defensive rein is still better because the micro version puts out the same candela and more lumens. I would put this flash light bigger than a micro but smaller than a full size surefire turbo. So medium size.Build quality is nice. It gets very hot quickly so I am curious how it well it maintains the light source overtime. There is no mlok so ahh what the heck.Comes with a pad and a click rear so you will likely need to buy a SF rear. Taking this into account makes the streamlight and sig flashlights a better deal. This would not top the streamlight for that reason. If you are looking for best all rounder get the stream light since no additional parts are needed. Looking for higher lumens and less candela get the sig. if you want to spend 30-50 more and get a SF attach lament get this. However that is putting it in the used cloud rein and higher end territory which are still better lights. My cloud rein 3 micro is still overall a better light. Only reason to get this is max candela otherwise look at the streamlight or sig.Edit:Modified to 3 starts. Mounting screw distance is unique to nightstick. Cannot use any of my SF or mod mounting brackets. I don’t think the head piece is changeable I tried to remove it to see if I could put it in a different body and couldn’t. Is not capable with standard sf tail caps. This is the killer which forces you to use their pressure switch. Hard pass."

THIS THING IS A LASER BEAM! lights up steel targes at 300 yards, maybe even more depending on size and color. Seems plenty durable for the price. Nothing is indestructible, (even surfires) and for half the price or less, if and when this takes a fatal hit, it will hurt me alot less. It comes with push button tail cap as well as a pressure pad tail cap and switch, with a pressure pad rail mount. The push buttons are very responsive and pressure pad seems quality enough (I personally don't prefer them, under sustained fire, they can get hot enough to soften/melt the plastic cable and/or pressure pad housing. Or, in cold weather, become brittle.) In my opinion, running the standard push button is superior overall and more than sufficient. It eliminates all the negative factors of the pressure pad nonsense, like cable management, mounting location, etc. It's not the smallest or lightest weapon light, but it's also not the biggest or heaviest. I can't speak on battery life, as iv yet to run it out, but you should invest in spare batteries for anything you intend to rely on anyway. I recommend Panasonic batteries over the random name chinese battery market, which sadly is the vast majority of it. But I'm sure they'll work too..but for how long..??Overall, I highly recommend this weapon light for any potential..duty grade rifle...iykyk.ben

This flashlight has better specs than the streamlight or surefire and can handle the use every bit as good as surefire. Just wish there was a FDE or OD option. I spray painted mine camo and mounted it to an HK rifle.drtrech
If you are looking for a light for your Smith & Wesson M&P Folding Pistol…
If you are looking for a light for your Smith & Wesson M&P Folding Pistol Carbine, this one has a unique feature that makes it worth a serious look. With a red dot sight and backup Magpul flip-up sights on the Picatinny rail, I discovered that space was running low for the touch pad to control this light (yes, there is the option to use 2-sided tape, but I don't like taping things to my gun). I also found that when I used the M-Lok adapter for the light there are fewer placement options than I had originally expected, as some of the M-Lok slots are a little narrower than standard, and the ones at the front of the handguard are a little shorter than standard; so that entire mounting option was just awkward. So I ended up using the Picatinny mount with the flashlight on the LEFT side of the barrel. It turns out that this is a fantastic option when paired with the Magpul M-Lok angled foregrip. With the light positioned just short of the muzzle (one Picatinny notch short of the longest position), and an appropriately positioned foregrip, you can easily activate the light with the tail switch instead of the touch pad, thus eliminating wires that can snag and clutter up your weapon. But the GENIUS part is that with the light mounted on the left side of the Picatinny rail, it clears the stock by about a millimeter when you fold the gun, so that the light is aligned with the stock instead of sticking out to the side.By mounting it like this, you have a MUCH more compact folded package, reduce the wire clutter (and potential failure points) of a touch pad, and free up space on your pic rail for--I don't know--a bottle opener or something.I doubt that Nightstick built the light with this in mind, but it couldn't have worked out more perfectly for use with the M&P FPC.Nice job Nightstick!david bunney
