"The device screams at you, at maximum volume, any time something happens. Do you have the volume set low on your phone, but higher on your receiving device to give you some headroom for volume adjustment? The device will scream, "Connected; Disconnected; Maximum Volume" at the RECEIVING DEVICE'S HIGH VOLUME, ignoring the low volume on your phone or other transmitting device. The worst? if you turn the phone volume down all the way, intending to silence things, the device will scream, "Minimum Volume!" at the high volume of your receiving device, ignoring the zero volume setting on your transmitting phone. I've wakened my family numerous times with this piece of garbage by instinctively trying to turn the volume down, but with this device that results in the loudest possible sound is it unnecessarily voice-broadcasts, at the high volume of the receiving device, "MINIMUM VOLUME!" If you turn off the app you are playing on your phone and walk away, the device will scream "DISCONNECTED!" after you've gone to bed."

The media could not be loaded. Do not hesitate to buy this. Just do it. I have an old old Bose radio and it has incredibly beautiful speakers. Its only inputs are CDs and FM/AM. Bummer right? Nope! Not with this little Bluetooth receiver. It plugs into AUX jack on back of Bose and I easily Bluetooth connect to it on my iPhone and I’m playing my favorite Spotify music on those crisp beautiful wonderful loud little Bose speakers. I’m so happy I bought this Bluetooth device. Simple to operate even an old technically challenged guy can do it! Haha.sarah jones
