"I originally saw this laptop stand at a doctor's office where every workstation used one. Theirs came from Amazon, and I ordered one for my home. The stand is made of sturdy metal pieces, fitted with non-skid pads to prevent movement of either the stand or the laptop. They work, and it sits at a perfect angle for me to touch type. Once situated, it's solid and perfectly stable, holding my 16 inch laptop with no creep or vibration. There's nothing flimsy about this thing. It's built to last.So why 4 stars? Because the three pieces are assembled with 4 countersunk screws. Mine went together easily enough, but once assembled it would not sit level. I tried different arrangements, but one corner would not rest on the desk. Finally, I shimmed the cross piece, and after some experimentation, it is now the solid foundation it was meant to be. The problem I had may be unique to my copy. I've seen no similar complaints. I recommend the stand for its utility and its construction. I'm ordering a second one for my office, but I do so aware that it may need adjustment.Just to update - I ordered a second of these SOQOOL Laptop Stands for my office. I arrived yesterday and went together without difficulty. It stands square and stable, so the problem I had with my first order was a fluke, and I recommend the product."
