"This is not a professional dental scraper like it states in the description. Both tip ends are round and pointed like a tooth pick. There is no flat surface to use as a scraper. You will not be able to use this to remove any stains from your teeth. The use would be no more than what a tooth pick can do. When it did not work for my teeth, I used if for another purpose and both ends bent out. It is not medical grade stainless steel or the tips would have been much stronger."

I had some stuff on the side of some teeth that accumulated between cleanings. I drink a lot of iced tea all day, every day and the stains do pile up. I bought this to help clean between cleanings whenever I saw this brown stain on my teeth. WOW! This little picker does work really well. There were just 2 spots up front I saw so I used it on them and they are now gone. Now I know what to do in between when I see the stain building up.
