"The media could not be loaded. I've owned this vacuum for two months. Here's my personal experience and opinions.. The lack of a charging base Was almost a deal breaker for me and remains of My bigger pet peeves with this vacuum. Unless you've got a place 2 Prop it up or wedge it, you have to take the vacuum Apart In order for it to stand up freely while charging. as you see in the video, It is too top heavy to charge In a standing position Unless you have it Propped up against your wall, and then you are risking It's scratching the wall. My other pet peeve with the vacuum is that even though it is designed For use with animals, and I'm assuming that means vacuuming up pet hair, The Vacuum tends to get clogged extremely Easily. We only have one indoor cat , our cat does not shed very much at all. Most of what is being vacuumed up comma And clogging the vacuum, is smaller bits and pieces of paper or Band-Aids or what have you That my kids vacuum up period stuff they can easily vacuum up with my Dyson, And even the Oarfield that I owned before this, But stuff that for some reason Gets clogged in the suction tube of this vacuum and then When you proceed to vacuum up small bits and pieces of say Dirt or debris or in our case cat litter, It either just continues to pick it up and spit it back out on the floor , or you have to turn the vacuum cleaner off turn it upside down Pull out of it whatever is clogging it And then proceed period It's a bit of a pain comma and as I said earlier comma I find myself having to do this regularly which is something I've not had to do with my other vacuums before period Since I have kids comma maybe this isn't the most kid-friendly vacuum period They were able to use my other ones just fine Comments so I'm just saying dot dot dot It does seem to have decent suction power comma and when nothing is clogging the intake on it comma it does a fairly decent job of vacuuming both hard Surfaces and carpet. However, it does have a hard time getting into the corners and right up against baseboards. We have engineered hardwood in our house and ceramic tile in the bathrooms and throw rugs In the main living areas and it can get them Clean fairly quickly. Our home downstairs is just over 2000 square foot and I haven't run the battery dead yet, so it's got good battery life. One of the other things that is a bit inconvenient is the fact that you have to again disassemble the vacuum to empty the dirt canister, which means you're using two hands and having to prop up the bottom piece of the vacuum while you dump the canister that's attached to the top piece. My personal opinion, I wouldn't buy it again. I paid much less for my orfeld, I paid I think $124.99 for this on Black Friday and about 89.99 for my orfeld a couple years ago. The oilfield doesn't have as good section power as this one does but it has a charging base and it doesn't seem as inconvenient to use."

I've been using my Shark Cordless vacuum for a few months now. I still love it. I was waiting to make sure it kept working before reviewing. So far, so good. I haven't had the best luck with the less expensive cordless vacuums. One was so hard to clean I just sent it back. Another had a problem with the rollers not spinning. I managed to keep it going for 2 years but always presented problems. This one is easy. The rollers stop the nanosecond a problem is detected and nothing has gotten wrapped up in them. This one is not so expensive that I couldn't afford it and is what I was looking for. It seems durable and hopefully it will last more than a few years. It's easy to use, lightweight and empties very easily. Just hold it over the garbage can and push the button. Nice. It's also easy to charge. I just plug it in next to a wall and let it charge. My only complaint is actually that the charge barely lasts long enough. I have 1204 sq. ft. on 3 levels. I use a larger, corded vacuum for the top level that has 2 carpeted bedrooms. So, I'm only vacuuming the hard floors on the 2nd level (with some throw rugs) and the carpeted living room on the ground floor. Also 18 total carpeted steps. So, I wish the charge would last another 10-15 minutes for a more complete job. That said, it works so well, that I'm still very happy. The best part is that it's small enough and light enough to make cleaning the stairs a lot less of a chore than with a full-sized regular vacuum. The rollers pull strongly and the suction is quite adequate. Not overwhelmingly so but does the job. I have 2 cats and need to be able to have a handy device especially for the steps where they love to play.deedub

3rd times the charm. This is a great, lightweight and practical cordless vacuum for Huskies and other shedding dogs. The charge has lasted all week and the waste holds enough to finish the living room and kitchen/dining area without having to empty. Suction is great. It works well on carpet and ceramic floors. I have a bad back and hip yet was able to lift this over furniture and push easily. I tried two other brands/models and returned as one had zero waste capacity and other not enough suction for the dog hair. This one seems perfect.june

This vacuum was my one and only prime day splurge last year and I have not regretted it even once. I researched different stick vacs and decided this model seemed like the best value for what I needed (vs. dyson and other brands).Overall summary: extremely easy to use, charge, and clean the vacuum itself. Very effective and functional, would absolutely buy again even if it died tomorrow after only one year of owning but it seems to be working about 98% as well as it was right out of the box. I specifically waited a year to write this because many reviews I read when comparing cordless vacuums prior to purchase mentioned problems after about 6 months of use. I've had none. The rest of the review is long but I know if I would have appreciated reading this input when shopping around.Battery life: I timed the use when I first got it and ran it for ~40 minutes switching between hard floor and carpet settings and it did not run out. I think it's only died on me once or twice in the entire time I've had it, and that's when I was vacuuming the entire ~3000 sq ft house in one go. Since I usually stick to just upstairs or just downstairs at a time, battery isn't an issue for me even on the high power setting.Suction/dust cup capacity: the suction is only ever affected when the dust collector cup is seriously full, and since we had two cats and one dog and were catching up on a long time of neglecting vacuuming, this was pretty often at first. Since then we've gotten through one or two full battery charges worth of cleaning without having to empty, which means the suction has been great. We use crystal cat litter that sometimes gets statically stuck to our cat's fur and he will shake it off on the carpeted floor. This vacuum has been great at getting the litter (and fur of course) out of the carpet. Not to mention actually emptying the dust cup is super easy too.Hand vac/crevice tool: switching attachments is also very easy. I had a super cheap hand vac I used to use for crevices and cleaning my car, but no more. This is great for getting in between couch cushions, car seats, cup holders, floorboards, etc.Brush roll: I have long hair and I shed a lot more than the average person. One of the biggest deciding factors between brands for me was the ability to get my hair out of the brush roll and I definitely made the right choice on this one. Even when my hair is clogging the brush roll, it has never once actually stopped it from rolling and has barely changed the effectiveness at all. When I do clean it out - it's SO easy thanks to the grooves on the roll and the bristle design. Even on other vacuums that are supposedly designed to easily clean the brush roll, it has never been this easy before.Down side: The only suggestion for improvement I have is that the tiny wheels on the front of the vacuum head were tangled with fur/dust/hair after the second or third use. Unlike the brush roll, it seems impossible to fix this. On the other hand, even though I'm not sure those wheels even roll anymore, it hasn't actually seemed to have any effect on the vacuum's functionality which is why I'm still giving five stars. If you are on the fence about getting a stick vac in general:I cannot recommend it enough and it is absolutely worth making the switch. My partner and I both have depression and ADHD which makes it very hard for us to find the motivation to clean. Since getting this vacuum I am not kidding, I have vacuumed more in the past year than I have the rest of my adult life (I'm 32! Yes, this is embarrassing!). We keep this near the kitchen within easy reach and eye sight, and it's small enough not to be in the way. We also have carpeted stairs which were the worst to have to deal with - both mentally and literally - and now I vacuum them regularly just because it's so easy. We have had multiple full size/traditional "pet" specific vacuums before and this specific model has equal or better suction power and is so much more convenient than all of them. And it fits under the couch!cbutler

I bought this vacuum in summer of 2023. I use it weekly and it is now on its last leg. My household has two indoor cats and it did a good job with picking up cat hair. I enjoyed that it’s lightweight and cordless. This was my first cordless vacuum. The battery lasts about a half hour on the highest setting. It still turns on, but in the last month, I’ve noticed that it mostly pushes around dirt and doesn’t pick things up very well anymore. I have taken really good care of it by cleaning and changing the filter and detangling the brush. I’m disappointed that it’s no longer working. I’m not sure if it’s common for cordless vacuums to stop working or not, but I have a cheap plug in Black and Decker vacuum from 2015 that still works well. It just surprises me that it didn’t last as long.In short, it’s a good vacuum but doesn’t last very long.ashley brooks

VERY impressed with this cordless vacuum! The charge is great, I have approx. 2000sq. ft and it stayed charge for all of it. Combination of hardwood and two different height carpets and it did well on all. I also have two labs and every season is shedding season, and did a nice job picking up the hair and other misc items. Canister needed to be emptied often, but very happy with its easy under cabinets and some other furniture! The attachments were also helpful for the dog hair on the furniture and in between my glass sliding doors. Very happy with this purchase!jason k

I bought this Shark Pet Cordless Vacuum as a more budget-friendly alternative to the expensive Dyson models, and I am incredibly impressed. It does everything I need it to do at a fraction of the cost. The suction power is fantastic, especially on carpets where pet hair and fine dust tend to hide. The LED headlights are a total game-changer—they reveal dust and hair under furniture that I would have completely missed otherwise. I also love the versatility of the removable handheld vacuum, which makes it so easy to clean our cars (perfect for getting baseball dirt out of the seats!) or quick messes around the house. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the battery life is more than enough for our daily needs. If you're looking for "Dyson-level" performance without the "Dyson price tag," this Shark vacuum is a home run! What Customers Talk About
