"I read all the reviews of leather refurbishment products. This one had the best reviews. I refinished a leather chair that had many cat scratches and stains. A year later and the chair still looks great. This stuff really works. Since it has lasted a year, I’m now going to do my couch. And...I’m doing it in a darker color. I did an ottoman a year ago in a darker color and it has held it all this time. So not only can you cover damage, you can change the color of your leather furniture. Best advice is to take your time. I also found that blotting on the finish coat seemed to work better. Instead of wiping it, dot it on. I had some places where the finish coat took off the color if I wiped it on. It was frustrating as then I had to do another color coat. But I figured it out, finally, and it looks great."

This product works great!!! This is not something you can be nonchalant about. Strictly follow the instructions and you won’t have any problems!! Covered very well. I had to darken the color a lot to match! Remember it dries darker!!!! So do a test area and take your time!!! I will update this review in the future to say it’s still great or if it fails over a short period of use.Anonymous

What an Amazing Kit!. Our two burgundy leather couches started fading / pealing with small cracks mainly on the seats sections and hand rest areas. Let just say it did not look good. We were thinking about purchasing new couches, but decided to give this kit a try. The color kit we've purchased was Wine, which was very close but slightly lighter to the existing color. The kit came with a black and white stain for mixing. We've used a little bit of black to darken the wine stain, which matched the original color perfectly. It is important to know that the stain will appear lighter when wet and will darken when it's dry.Couldn't be more happy with the result. Our couches look like brand new again thanks to this kit.thomas j yager

I can't tell you how impressed I am with this product. I had thought about hiring someone to come in and refinish/stain my leather furniture for a few years now. The furniture was generally in good shape - no tears or rips - but my dogs had gone up there over the years and scratched it with their claws. Also since it was bonded leather there were several parts of the couch, loveseat, chair, and hassock that had faded due to the sun while other parts didn't so the colors were mismatched and it was looking bad. I began by purchasing one full kit, cleaned the leather up and started applying the dye. It was so easy to use and left the furniture looking almost brand new. It covered all of the scratch marks, discoloration, and anything else that may have spotted or stained the furniture over the years (did I mention this set is over 25 years old?) After doing the couch and the hassock I purchased another kit as well as another 2 bottles of the dye only. I probably could have gotten by with just the additional 2 extra bottles but I didn't know at the time I could just buy the dye aside from the full kit. The bottom line is for about $ 150.00 (and I have 2 bottles of dye left) I refinished the whole set and am extremely happy with the results. I found it easiest to be liberal with the dye and to use the sponges they give you for the larger areas and the cheap paintbrush style sponge brushes to do the seams and to get into the cracks and crevices. I would highly recommend this product and am very happy that I was able to save this furniture set.karidawnm

This product is a amazing!! I was to the point SOMETHING had to be done about my monstrosity and if I had to buy another couch I'd may as well try this first just to do it (I didn't have much faith in the unknown of the product and my known inability to follow instructions) SO, I ordered, it came rather quickly and I went to work right away! The instruction pamphlet is easy to read and follow- the product itself is easy to manage and I did have enough to get all the disable parts of the couch however I will purchase more so I can do the back part and the creases (I know the are there) also I recommend getting additional sponges- the ones included do get worn down and then the plastic handle piece scratches the surface causing issues...
