"At first, I didn’t know what to expect from this children’s piano book because I’ve never taken a piano class before, but I was excited to learn something new along with my children. From the first page, the book starts off with illustrations and explanations of the most basic information about the keys on a keyboard, the different types of notes, tempo, dynamics, and step-by-step instructions on how to read music sheets. It’s a very interactive and easy-to-follow introduction to piano. I liked that the practice songs are classics that I’ve heard my whole life growing up, and I appreciate that each lesson gradually gets more difficult as the songs incorporate what was previously learned into the current lesson. It was a bit difficult to try to get my 3 year old to practice playing with me since he would rather jump and run around everywhere, but I’m happy to have learned something new that I can pass along to my children as they get older. I recommend this book to whoever wants a complete beginner friendly introduction to piano."

This beginners book is well organised making it easy to follow and build on the skills as you go. i.e. teaching the right hand positions, then posture, then breaking down each type of note. Text is easy to read. It's detailed without being too wordy. My only complaint is the same I have for many books of this nature: it doesn't easily lay flat. That said, it still looks like a great book for beginners.
