"I would say this device is very effective at capturing hair and fit well in my drain. The issue I face is that I have fine, medium/long (mid back) hair and it is only effective for 2 showers at best. I don't think my hair sheds at a particularly high rate but I've spent more time cleaning this thing than it has been in use. If I don't clean it after two showers I am standing in dirty bath water. I feel for the time required to maintain I'd rather snake the drain every 3-4 months because that would amount to less work than this does."
