"These boxes are okay and work fine for my purpose. Definitely not water proof. Probably splash proof but not waterproof. They flex when picking them up, probably because of all the removable dividers. The lid doesn't latch with an air or water tight seal. There is no seal on the lid but those types that do have a seal are more expensive. The latches seem to be sturdy and of good quality and will last a long time. I'm using these boxes to store 4" (1:18th scale) action figures. With the dividers removed the box will hold 12 figures. These boxes would be good for fish casting type lures and that's probably what they are designed for. Very comparable to the equivalent "Plano" boxes."

Needed some more tackle boxes for my fresh/salt water fishing backpacks and I like kastking for its reasonable price/durability. For being light weight the boxes are pretty tough and durable, I’ve tossed them around pretty good and they stay locked up with nothing spilling out or water getting in. I modified one to have no slots so it can hold wider/longer/flatter stuff and the 3600 boxes are compact enough to fit in perfectly inside my two different backpacks. Great buy!linda willson

I purchased these to organize my votive candles. They were the perfect size. And just what I needed! I was able to take the candles out of little cardboard boxes and put them in these and neatly stack them on my shelves. And I can see what’s inside and easily select the color I want to use without reading a tiny label on the side of a little box. I love this solution. A side note—have some in my actual fishing tackle from years ago too. 😂 these are sturdy. They seal tightly and are waterproof or at least water resistant.
