"With this set screw kit we get a lot of screws, but only coarse threaded ones. The fine threads are missing and SAE set is missing 8-32 and 6-32 sizes. The SAE set has several sizes marked incorrectly. For example 3/16-24 screws should have been named 10-24 and 1/8-40 screws - 5-40. This is not what I want, this is how such screws are called in American standards. There is one more size included - 5/32-32, which is not listed in the US standards. Maybe it is a Chinese standard? In the metric set all sizes of the coarse threads from M3 to M8 are included.The screw quality seems to be OK. They have nicely rolled threads and included hex keys have a good tight fit to the screw sockets. The black oxide coating is the industry standard. 12.9 grade material is the strongest for metric screws and we have to believe this is what is supplied.The plastic organizers are very good for storage. Each screw size was packed in a plastic zip bag for shipping and because of that they survived the shipping very well - all screws stayed in their respective places.I would recommend the metric set, but not the SAE one. SAE set has 120 screws of a non-existing size and is missing a few important sizes."
