"I'm aware of the criticism. My father actually shares the same complaints: water is so purified that it's demineralized and not healthy. HOWEVER, the POINT of this system is to do EXACTLY that: remove all dissolved solutes, including the toxins like fluoride, chlorine, and other organic pollutants from industry and agriculture. And this thing delivers on its promises. If you want demineralized water, buy some trace minerals at the health food store. The best brand I've tried is ConcenTRACE. One or two drops in your glass and you're good to go.What's worse? Having to remineralize the water or drinking pollutants on a regular basis? Methinks the answer is not even up for debate. If you want a filter that makes CLAIMS it doesn't deliver on, get one of those bogus Santevia filters. I tested the water after using those "mineral" rocks it comes with and it's a joke....after 5 days of sitting with those junk stones the water didn't gain 1PPM!!!Zero Water + a good quality remineralizing solution is the best option. Period."
