"I use windows 10, I have no issues with it. However I bought this for a friend to upgrade an old desktop. He likes windows 7. This CPU does not work with Windows 7, because of a marketing/sales decision by Microsoft. This is fine, however the product description should say in big bold letters: THIS IS THE FIRST INTEL x86/x64 CPU THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT WINDOWS 7.So my issues is with the product listing on Amazon. The CPU itself is great."
