"Works great for most pets I would assume. My cat (his name is Stevie, but we call him Doofenshmirtz for reasons) figured out a way to outsmart it. I had two of these set up. One in the window of my bedroom to keep him from tearing up my blinds and to stay off my face/pillow at night and the other was on the kitchen table. Well the fat cat figured out that as long as he kept his head out of the range of the transponder, he could use his back legs to knock stuff off the counter or to sit on my pillow. Had to make the range bigger—thankfully it comes with a lot of different ranges."

My parents are a little slower moving and do not notice her behind them when they open an outside door or any door. They can tell her to stay then turn around and she is in the room before they are. No more. 5 star review for these mini barriers.My dog is a foodie and will eat more than her body weight. She can get on a chair and onto the table and eat your entire takeout bag. Now I can leave food in a bowl on the table open and she will leave it. She now respects the doors and the table even without her collar on. Puppy has only been zapped twice and now steers clear of the cat box areas.
