"First do not believe the reviews about the product being difficult to use or it not being smooth. If you take the time to install and adjust it properly it works perfectly and is hands down the best door lock we have used for our toddler. I would give this product 5 stars without question if it was not for one issue that appeared after about 3 months of use and that is the ends of the springs started to break through the plastic (pictures included). I literally can not express how happy I am with every other aspect of this product but with it only having 3 months worth of use and it is almost completely broken I can not recommend it unless you are willing to buy a new one every few months or it is on a door that is not regularly used."

It’s renter-friendly, easy to use, and thanks to overnight delivery, we had peace of mind by morning. 💛Very easy to install: simply loosen the screws to slide the panel between the door and deadbolt backing--add your deadbolt screws back in-- and twist the cover until the safety screws line up with the clear cover and Voila! Be sure to do a practice test before you walk away, I forgot to twist the clear cover properly for the safety screws to line up.For functionality a simple pinch and twist will unlock/lock your deadbolt. Sturdy as its adhesive is tightened between the door and deadbolt.An absolute must buy if you have a deadbolt + toddler!samantha dehls

easy to install. does its job as intended. toddler hates it but me and his father now have a peace of mind that he wont be unlocking or opening the door as he can't unlock it now with this on . great for safety and peace of mind with smart littles. we have the doorknob things on all the other doors and they work great but the front door we couldn't get one to fit so once he figured out the deadbolt lock we immediately bought this . its easy for adults to use and impossible for my toddler. durable and fits well. will be easy to remove when we move. definitely a good value for what i paid.joy
